Default What Made These Tracks??

In 2" of snow that has slightly melted, so they are a little larger than when made, were these tracks. Single file, over 3" apart and the 2nd set of the same looking tracks in the 2nd picture is more than 5' away? The metal plate in the 1st picture is 4' long.

I'd say at least a 200 lb. buck. Possibly an 8 point. May be a 9 0r 10. And in no hurry to go anywhere seeing rutting season is over.

Rabbit. If it stops and says "What's up doc?" you are in trouble.

Detroit Rat. Way bigger and badder that the New York pussy ones.

Old be a Turkey or a Turkey vulture. ( not to be confused with the Turkeys on here)

When a rabbit is hopping it's front feet land first, it's rear feet land second but ahead of the front feet in preparation for the next hop. They will make different prints when they are "walking" often you'll see the long print of the rear legs in a V with the two front feet making small prints inside the V. Looks like rabbit to me, or a HUGE deer with one leg and giant dew claws.

I had an Oldsmobile that had similliar tracks on the back seat. They were pecker tracks.
