I logged onto the Mecum site to watch it live. You can look up the high bid on the no sales and the selling prices on there too.

You need to have the Motor Trend channel to be able to watch it on TV, otherwise as mentioned go to the Mecum website.

Like Barrett Jackson event way better.
Fake Cobra's are everywhere, but I saw a few real Deal Cobra's there too. Prices were through the roof on cars I figured were worth half of what they sold for. the 68 Pink Firebird was kind of rough!

Barret-Jackson is on A+E's History Channel and the FYI channel, or you can watch it on their website.

What did the '65 go for?

Was the 65 the black original paint car that went for $135,000?

Did anyone notice the '67 GTO HO convertible that sold for $225.5K? Very nice car, but wow, that's a lot of money!

I remember stumbling upon these on the Velocity channel when they first started airing them. I watched for hours and hours. I watched maybe an hour of Friday and and hour of thursdays events just now on the MT app. Prices are nuts.

When I first started watching them Thurs-Friday were a lot of affordable kinda everymans cars. On the recent one I only saw one car hammer under 20k. Most of them were 40+, and to be fair, other than the trucks most of them were 40k plus cars. C2s and whatnot. I dont understand why anyone would pay 45,000 dollars for a 1971 C10, but to each their own.

I know Kissimmee is one of their premier shows. Maybe there was just a preponderance of super nice cars. Maybe I just choose the wrong slices to watch, but I was dissapointed at the lack of affordable cars. And I dont just mean that prices are high, they are, but its more that I saw no entry level type models. Meaning that if there was a 1963.5 Galaxie it was a 427 car and not a 352 car.

They sell a lot of lower price cars too, they just don't put them on TV - more people want to watch the high dollar cars get sold.

What an amazing piece of car history.
Bad thing is it cost her 10% extra. I'm not knocking the car or her wining the bid, but they get you both ways.
