This is the one that got me…the 86 chevy short box 4x4 with 35K original miles, $62700. WOW! That is completely nuts…

Now Keith Seymore can know what his short box Chevy could bring.

I saw very few cars that brought LESS than I thought they would.
And they were not "hot cars" in most respects.
Was a 10 day event so there are a lot of pages to view all the results, but I check them all out Before and Afterwards.

72 Pinto Woody Wagon with only 28,000 miles time capsule
$13k - thought it would have brought 20-25k

79 Pinto Woody Wagon with more miles than the 72, but still mint
$7k or 8k - thought it would have been 13-15k

Late 70's Datsun KingCab Truck in great original shape
$7k or 8k - thought it would have been 13-15k

Some IROC Camaros and late model TA's sold very affordable.

Two AMC vehicles from late 70's -early 80''s shocked me with their numbers.
an AMX Spirit in the 40k's and an Eagle Wagon in the 30k's

Vettes and Tri-5 prices really sprang back up at this event.
They had been spiraling down steadily past couple/few years - iirc

Overall majority of cars brought More , to Way More , than I thought they would.
Some 69 Z28's are closing in or surpassing Hardtop Hemi prices. That is a real head shaker

I saw that AMX. I had never seen one of those.

I also saw a black IROC for 15k. That was the single lone car I saw go for under 20k.

Really nice. Before I bought the 911 i just got, I looked pretty hard for a 3rd gen with an LS treatment. All I could find though were in the sloppy mechanics image. I was more looking for one that was more of a restomod with AC and all that. Not a stripped car with a chinese turbo.

I looked at Tri Fives too and that is a strange market. Im really not sure what separates a 40k car and a 90k car in looking at those. They seemed all over the place.

My customer ended up buying the Corvette. He passed on the '56 Bel Air.
