74 SD T/A Vacuum Line
Pics of underside of air cleaner assembly. Trying to straighten out my vacuum lines, does anyone know where this single vacuum line that is missing goes to? There is nothing on the intake plugged up so no indication of where it should go.
Thanks KC

That extra vacuum connection on the air cleaner housing is interesting. My '74 SD (all original) air cleaner housing only has the temp sensor connections, one to the thermac motor, the other to manifold vacuum. Do you know if that's the original air cleaner housing for your car?

That`s a good question, I can`t say but my 73 SD T/A does not have this extra line. My 73 is an automatic & the 74 is a stick, don`t know if this matters.
Thanks KC

That's a '76-newer air cleaner base.

Horst has a web page on the 74 emissions that may help in the future:
74 Pontiac Emissions (Kenth posted this in another thread, forgot Horst had this)

Early. Have not come across a later '73 booklet.
