73 rear seat interchange
Hello all,
I Have a question. I’m not too familiar with the 73’s like I am with the 70-71’s so I am curious if a 77 rear seat would work as a core for a 73? If not what years will work? Another question, are the foam buns the same for standard and deluxe (horse collar) rear seats? Thanks, Stan |

cant answer the other questions, but i use a 1978 rear seat back & bottoms in my 72, they fit fine with no issues. the earlier rear seat back frames looked to be made a little different but the later year seat back fit my 72 just like it fits later years.

They'll work fine. My 71 has rear seat cores from an 80.
They'll drop right in.

they will work, BUT, bon’t buy repop 73 covers and expect it to swap on;
the later seat backs are actually a bit thinner - I found this out first hand, and had to find another donor rear seat back to use the repop cover on.
