Default Twin Cities Auto Show commercial

This was in the commercial for our auto show that starts today. I don't know if from our first auto show here or not. But, I like it anyways. I didn't attend until until the late '70s.

Is that TA actually going to be there, or just a picture?
That is the ultimate car for a car show.

Interesting pic. To me, the perspective seems a bit odd. Kind of twisted. Can't say I'm wild about the black glass. But then, nobody asked.

Again, I don't know anything about the picture. Almost looks like a tree branch is reflecting in the paint. Trim rings look too tight to the rim. I'm sure it was pre-production if from March 1973, but why aren't the tires white letter? And, something is right under the car that I can't figure out.

And, it's the RV show this weekend and the Auto Show next weekend.

I noticed that commercial on TV too. The still picture you posted looks like it could be a scale model (or maybe a computer generated image.) It's the 50th anniversary of the show, which is why they put a 1973 car in the ad - no idea why they picked a Trans Am, though.

It looks like a model to me but my eyes are getting old.

The flush side window really contributes to the odd look. I'm pretty sure the Rally II's are billet and the car was photoshopped on to the picture.

Clear turn signals
Metal front valance
Customized trim rings
Fender decals don't really look kosher

A later life fixed it upper . imo

Still very cool they chose it , and SD455 shaker can make you smile a little extra.
