1980 Trans am pace car production plant
Was Norwood Ohio the only plant for the 1980 turbo pace car or was it built at different factories also

They were built at both plants, Norwood and Van Nuys.

Production '80 Turbo 301 builds began in early Oct of '79 (there was a hold on production).
'80 Pacecar production began around Thanksgiving of '79. The first production turbo 301's equipped with the dog & pony show turbo lights began simultaneously w the PaceCar builds. Have never ran across an early built Norwood turbo build (10A to 11B body build).
