Default 69 Judge value

Looking at a Judge for sale locally. What would you guys think a nice fresh frame off (but not quite concours) restored RAIII 4speed Judge is worth.

looks to be a nice virgin rust free car before the resto but other than 4Speed and Safe-T-track its a low option car, manual steering and brakes, no tach or gauges etc

Color is green in and out.

Last Judge I bought was ten years ago so I'm out of touch with the market.

Hey John.

I'd guess (but I'll go to see it with ya to confirm) about $35k ...Not my choice of Judge colours but that's another story...:-)

That sounds about right to me. Maybe up to $40k with the right buyer.

I watch prices a lot and have not anytime recently seen any frame off numbers matching Judge (any year) go for less than 45k.

Just my opinion: A 4-speed Judge with its complete original engine, transmission, driveshaft, rear, etc is worth a premium over the prices that most of use see.

Default Judge Value

With a crazy economy like this who knows I am going to look at a 69 Ram IV Bird and a 70 455 GTO convertible with Ram Air option this Saturday. I have been chasing the Bird for over 10 years got close once but the guy changed his mind well hopefully Saturday I will have better luck but all any car is worth is what someone is willing to pay and equally important what someone is willing to take Judge or not and that there is the Gospell about matching numbers.

Well, that's all North needed to know. He just needed to read the "Gospell." I guess he'll know better next time........................

I thought a frame off restored, #'s matching judge was going for $60k-$65k.... Are you guys quoting lower prices because of the color, or has the market come down that much since 2008? I was just pricing what it will cost to bring my seats back to NOS quality - just the seats are about $2500.

I think you can get a concours restored RAIII 4 sp '69 or '70 Judge with a nice color combo for $60-$65k. If you shop around you could probably find a #'s car in that price range.

The car mentioned takes a hit for color combo and less than concours on the restoration. Is it a $20k hit? Maybe not, but still significant.

I don't think the market has changed that much since 2008, but I don't watch it as closely as some do. The peak, IIRC, was 2006 or so, then took a dump in 2007/2008, stayed about the same for a few years and seems to be gradually creeping back up.

My $.02.

Scott
