Good point- I can't see spending $300.00 for two bolts. How far does one take the CORRECT down to each nut and bolt on their restoration? Repro just isn't the same but if someone is able to see these bolts on my car they are a little too close to my car for comfort.

GM used a few bolt venders on many items, The center shifter thru bolt could also be a TR, WB, etc with the 6 hash marks being grade 8. The bottom right bolt could be TR, SBC, WB, etc grade 2 bolt. Correct bolts can be found pretty cheap with some research, and Yes, I went that far with my restoration.

If you spent the $ 300.00 for the 2 bolts then you definitely have more money then sense.

Is this directed at me? My cars been complete for some time, don't need them. My point was there are other bolts that are correct and they can be found much cheaper.

Seen ended auctions on eBay where the visible bolts for a Muncie added up to around $600, multiple times I've seen this!

If you look at other items this guy is selling, you'll notice he is very high. And his prices are astronomical too! :-) I see used parts and "NOS Quality" listed. Of course, someone, somewhere will eventually buy his stuff. Guess I should have picked up that rock crusher a few months ago cheap and parted it out!
