Ouch Frank. Thats a lot to pay for the wheels. But if you need one I understand. At least you wont have to paint it nd you know its straight. Now you just need to get a correct hood scoop. You should have bought the one on ebay a few days ago. I think I may have another one that I may sell in the future.

weranc,
I did pick up a dual snorkel shaker the other day. Has working solenoids and a orignal flapper.

I think you paid a fair price for that. The base is not correct but you can always sell it if you want your car original or it will work great if you decide to do a ra4 motor.

I had a chance to buy 3 nos KR's about four months ago for about 800 to 900 for the set and the wife talked me out of it. I dont know if it was from the same guy selling those but a few of them needed to be repainted because of a few scuffs

Norwood,
No, he asked if I was interested and I told him "no". I only needed the one and I could uses the other $1000 on other parts (like WW block!) I'm guessing he will put them on eBay. There was a lot of interest in that wheel.

weranc,
I have a correct base for the RA III motor, but wnated the dual snorkel in the event I went the IV route. Also, my shaker scoop does not have any of the guts (other than the solenoid bracket), so now I can see how it should be set up correctly.
