Looks like the car has been put up for sale at least 1 other time(Mecum Anaheim 2016) since 2014 with no sale at 90k. A few small items I might debate(routing of brake lines) but reasonably well done restoration.

Bench seat/floor shift(w/o console) saved weight and I've seen a few of them
The II Bird was owned by Joe Cione, a member here for years, Deluxe Bench Seat interior with 4 speed is very (read ultra) rare but a legitimate combination of options, likely the only one of it's kind with a deuce.

Phil Silva owns the car at the moment, bought it from the prior owner who wanted/needed to off some cars.

Unicorn car for many of us, well done restoration with legitimate numbers matching engine. Well known car with a great history.

76 Trans Am 455 4-speed posi. Yellow with a tan interior. Guy claims it's been in storage since 1996. Rebuilt engine and the interior and front end has been taken apart. You'd need a U-haul to pick it up. Located in Oklahoma with a starting bid of $3K.

Here's a 69 GTO that, IMO, is most obviously a poser. It's bid up to $19.9K with 14 bids in 3 hours. It has goofy stripes, a 350 engine and is no where near worth $20K. Look for it to end before the auction ends because it's "no longer available for sale." I see these at times, but typically not this obvious. Buyer beware.

1 of 325 made. I used to comb junkyards in the late 80's and 90's and the hoods on these cars were almost always bent. Prolly because they were so long. I like the car too and a stock air cleaner would do wonders for it.

79 Trans AM no reserve in Indiana at $2.6K. Interesting interior color combo with a black dash, console and steering wheel with red seats and door panels.

That's one of the plastic dash caps and a quickly/poorly installed one at that.

That whole car just screams "rode hard and put away wet"..The panel fitment is scary. While solid appearing, it looks sooo tired.

Not familiar with the 1970 PHS documents but shouldn't it have listed the Turbo Hydramatic option being selected?

The auto. wasn't extra cost so it's not listed on the Trans Am.
(other models it would have been listed)

BTW, the console wasn't included with the tranny, so if they hadn't bought it, the shifter would have been on the column.

Donate it to the local high school auto shop class and then wait to see what it looks like after 2 years.

Ha, After 48 years some of my body panels don't fit too good either.

This appears to be a 73 T/A. Seller states it needs to be gone by April 20. Looks like a lot of work was done with some expensive parts, but some of it was bad choices, like shaved door handles and smoothed firewall. If you had crusty T/A this would be a good donor car, or maybe a restomod. Located in CO. Sitting at $1700 with no reserve.
