Back in '85 unless you could find some NOS quarters all that was available was Camaro repops. On a '69 it was easy to fill in the gills, not so easy to add the side detail on a 67-68.

2 Can AM's in really bad shape at $2K NR in Oklahoma. Both rear spoilers are gone, but you could probably salvage a hood and a shaker. May have original engines?

78 Macho T/A 4-speed with 26K miles at $30K BIN in SC. That's cheap for this car.

68 Firebird convert in Wisconsin with a reserve at $6100. Guy claims it's one of three with factory leather. No pics of the engine which is supposed to be Ram Air. The car is loaded if it is what it claims to be. Odd it has a special order 2:56 axle.

I didn't see it claimed as RamAir , but it is an HO with LongBranch Exhaust
R/A were 3.90 axle - and no AC allowed

37C is the correct 2.56 axle code , so she had Lonnnggg Legs
Title reads like it was sold in 1971 and 2012 and 2016

I always wondered how the leather saddle interior would look with Autumn Bronze
ehh , it never looks good with any color - but it's rare.

I always wonder why so many Can Ams ended up in such rotten condition. And THEN when they're too far gone to be worth restoring, someone decides, "hey, these were rare and cool -- I need to save it". Too bad more of them weren't appreciated a bit sooner in their lives.

Wow is this one loaded with a lot of good stuff. The leather seats look like they've been redone, though, at least in the front. Too puffy to be original. Would be nice to see some more pics of the interior and engine compartment.

2.56 ratio is what came standard with a Firebird 400 in '68 when air conditioning was ordered. I always thought that was odd. Have owned a few that were so configured... they didn't feel remotely quick.

.
Odd about both of these cars is they have white interiors. I think every Can Am I've ever seen has a red interior (which I love), but I'm a novice. These were some of the very cool mid 70's Pontiacs.

One of the C/A's is Red Interior - but it's had some white overlay done on the seats.
And looks like it was a column shift.
The other is White/Tuxedo

The one i had - and loved it - had White Interior with Firethorn Red Appointments
Sharpest combo they had on those Cars in my full honest opinion.
White = Seats, Door Panels, Side Plastics, Headliner
Red = Dash, Console, Carpet, Kick Panels, Seatbelts
Can't remember what color the package shelf was - thinking it was Red

67 GTO convert NR $500 in Georgia. No engine/trans interior. Frame looks shot, but the sheetmetal doesn't look too bad? Prolly a donor car.

you could get them with any color interior that they offered on that body style. i used to have several of the can ams. i had several with red interior, a white interior with red appointments, a white with black appointments, a tan interior, and a couple with black interiors. i ended up selling all of them except one with black interior. a local guy still has the one with tan interior and i wish i had kept it also. they are fantastic all round cars.

64 GTO in Maryland at NR $1500. Looks like it's been off the road since 71. Seller has a zero rating, so buyer beware, but cha never know. Body looks good. No engine/trans.

That steering wheel may be worth more than what the car is at right now... Someone has a hood in the classifieds that needs to go with that car. I like it myself.

I've seen that car here before. Can't remember the context but it's hard to forget.

It's pretty interesting and appears to be really well done, but I dunno....something about the colors reminds me of a kid's plastic dollar store toy.

Certain color combinations are etched in my head as associated with certain things. This is one of them.

Funny how the Epay ad shows various shots of the widened sheet metal at the back of the car, and then never shows a single picture of the finished product from the rear.
May have looked butt-ugly and they decided not to include?

The old Ronald McDonald mobile. You see cars like this all too often. Let's see... what if we used a 69 TA hood and wing and then put in second gen vents? Better yet, let's put a 'one of' yellow stripe down the hood and paint the bumpers!

This car isn't even finished. $45K is a joke IMO, though there is a lot of money in it. There are a few cars I see relisted over and over again and I suspect this one will be around a few more times. Note to self... if you build your wild dream car based on your dream machine, it ends up as your dream machine and is prolly a money pit.

Kinda like this 85 TA:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Pontia...kAAOSw095fOs3H

Supposedly over $100K in it and it's been for sale multiple times on eBay. Price drops have put it at $25K, but who wants it? You can't drive it on the street and it's too pretty to race.
