Default Pedal carrier/hanger questions

Hey everyone, I just realized that the pedals and carrier/hanger I bought from my uncle are a 64/65 set with the pin instead of a bolt. My question is, does anyone know if the 4/5 carrier will work in my 66? Or am I better off buying the 66 bolt style pedals (I have my original carrier)? I think I read somewhere the 66 carrier has extra provisions for a mount for the instrument cluster. Is that something I can as simple as a few holes I can drill? Thanks for any advice.

Here are the 2 different carriers. Dual pedal is 64/65, single is 66.. Would I need that slot cut into the earlier carrier to work in my 66? It seems to be the only major difference between the 2 other than the pin vs bolt.
