Default Convertible rear coils on a Hardtop for lift?

Anyone replace the stock hdtp rear coil springs with convertible springs for some lift? How much lift did you get? Talking '67 GTO.

Sadly, I installed the Ames convertible rear springs in my 66 GTO hardtop and it raised it about 1/2 inch. I expected at least 1 inch lift.
