Mirror on fender = remote. On door = manual.

63 & 64 full size cars got the mirror on the fender if it was a Remote Mirror.
Standard mirror was on the door.

64 GTO/LeMans were that way too. (Fender Remote vs. Door Standard)

I don't know the reason for that , it was odd.

That is a nice looking 67 Bird, but that is a big asking price IMO even for a 4bbl Sprint, let alone a 1bbl automatic. Even if they chromed the 1bbl air cleaner assembly.

69 Trans AM in Hawaii at $45K reserve not met. It amazes me a car like this retains its NM drivetrain. Really nice car.

Nice car, pretty sure I saw it at a local show n shine a few years ago, remember thinking it was maybe just a clone because of the black interior.

Wonder how long it’s been in the islands? A lot of these kind of cars got brought out here by servicemen stationed at all the bases on Oahu. Most of them rotten out from the salt laden wind.

This one looks very nice. Interesting to see if the hassles of getting back to the mainland might hurt the bids?

The VIN's stamped on the Engine and the Transmission are both Bogus.
Both should start with 29Nxxxxxx
And mirror each other in appearance.
Same gang-stamp used for both units during assembly line duty.

Looks like the island air is starting to take a toll on the restoration.
Surface rust starting on a lot of items.

67 Firebird convertible not NM 400 blue top 4-speed at $45K BIN. Super sharp. Those colored tops are not cheap.

69 Firebird 400 auto in Pennsylvania at $45 K with supposedly 39K miles. Original CA car. The asking price on first gens is really going up.

Please correct me if I'm wrong... and the worst choice of tires award goes to this car. 67 GTO dealer car in NJ at $1K with a reserve. Basically a stock car with tires that make it look like a Donk. Super sharp colors too. The car with Rally ones would really pop.

I own an automatic, black interior 69 T/A. Why did you think it was a clone because of the black interior?
