Default 1960 8 lugs on 1955 Chieftain Wheel bearings question

Hello, I have a set of 1960 8 lugs, and was thinking about trying to install them on my 1955 Chieftain wagon.
The rears I believe will bolt right on, I am trying to figure out the front wheel bearing situation.
My understanding is the 8 lugs used roller bearings until 62 than tapered bearings.
Does anyone know if the 55 front wheel bearings and 60 wheel bearings are the same? Thanks

There's a 1960 master parts catalog on the pontiacsafari.com website. It looks like the wheel bearings changed in 1958, but I don't know what the difference would be. http://www.pontiacsafari.com/MPC/Pag...49_Group06.pdf (scroll down to group 6.311.)

There's also an article over there on how to convert a 1955 car to a ball joint suspension, by mixing and matching parts from newer Pontiacs that may help: http://www.pontiacsafari.com/L1Garag...Conversion.pdf
