Default Show me your fitech, efi pics

Show me your fitech, or other efi pics so I can see how you ran your lines, I'm wanting to keep the clutter down, I like the clean look.
I'm gonna be running timing control any tips or links would be appreciated. Thanks

Here is a FAST EZ 2.0 with Dual Sync distributor, on a '68 Firebird. I did this system last year. I was able to use some of the existing lines, but had to do additions and rerouting.

FiTech on mine. Engine bay is pretty much a disaster. I implore you to do better!

JLMounce, looks uncluttered with that breather, I have a small breather and was concerned. Grivera looks uncluttered with no breather yet, I know some people dont care about clutter, but thats one reason i didnt want efi. Feel better now. thanks

This has been a pretty clean install for me. I use the FCC in the front passenger corner where the evap can used to be. I had to use an aftermarket throttle cable bracket, but had to mod it so it didn't get in the way of the radiator hose. I also used a universal wiring kit which allowed me to keep my wiring nicely managed.

Throttle cable bracket (nice piece at cheap price compared to identical offerings:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had to chop off some at the return spring so it didn't get messy with the upper rad hose. If you are using a vertical thermostat housing (like 60's style) it probably would be perfect.

Wiring was a universal kit from EZ Wire:
http://www.ezwiring.com/store/viewitem.php?productid=4

I upgraded the alternator with a CS130 unit spec'd for an 87 IROC with 5.0. It had the perfect clocking location for the plug. Lifetime warranty from Oreilly, with military discount and frequent flyer coupon! I returned an old 10si core I had collecting dust.

I run a Crosswind intake (RPM clone), which leaves me much room under the intake (no exhaust crossover) to run wiring and hoses. Love it.

Tried to do as clean as possible, if I had to do my build over again I would have found a NON AC car... makes soooo hard to work in the engine bay and cluttered it all. My Fitech is well hidden!

Squidward, if you dont mind, can you take a pic of the Throttle cable bracket to the firewall, want to see how your hooked up with the breather off. Thats seems like good prices on the wiring. thanks

Here are a couple. Let me know if there are specific items (ignition, pcv, etc.) you need pics of. I have 3 items going through the firewall: oil pressure line, temp gauge, and fitech hand held interface cable. I plan on cleaning that up at some point. My current plans are prioritizing functionality and driveability.

The wiring kit is nice priced and good quality, but you have to be prepared for a good diy project. It is NOT a plug n play. My car had a fire under the dash, so I had little salvageable to start with. I kept my wiring and fuel system flexible. I have insulated male/female spade wiring diconnects so I can run either timing control or regular hei at will, and my fuel supply to the fcc could easily be replumbed to a carb. I like options.

Gtogrr, not much else is required other than running fuel line from the mechanical pump to the fcc with a basic inline pre-filter. The kit contains the rest. If you already have a good carb throttle cable, it hopefully would require no additional hardware. The fcc comes with mounting bracket and fittings. The fitech wiring gives you enough wire for the fuel pump for me to go from throttle body, back to firewall, over to driver fender, up forward to rad support, and across to the front passenger corner.

Fcc needs a return line to the tank - not optional. I used the charcoal evap can hardline, and installed the fcc where the charcoal can used to be.

If you are talking about the upper hole in the firewall, yes. If you are talking about the throttle lever, then the answer would be "kinda".

Here are pics.

Grr! Having tech difficulty with pics. They were posting sideways and upside down, and it didn't like the png format. You will have to rotate your brain 90 degrees.

Fuel command center is mounted on pass core support where charcoal canister use to be. Fabbed a metal line from the mechanical fuel pump ran it across the front of the block to pass side fenderwell and attached to inline filter and then fuel command center. From the command center i used the supplied high pressure hose and routed it back to the efi unit. I used insulated clamps to secure it all.
