All right boys I need help
My good friend died of a massive coronary and I'm trying to help his wife get some prices on some Pontiac stuff.
Heads Part number 9770716 Block- Casting no. 9792968- -428 cu in. Date code A279 Crank- -number--9782769 1961 block 538181--A1 Thanks for all help! Fred |

The heads are of 64 GTO and 421 use. Desireable to most in that group. I would say $500 or more, depending on condition.
The 428 block...standard? Crank? Caps? Lots of things to be known before it could be accurately priced. The rest is not in my area of buying so  no idea.Good Luck Ray |

Thanks Ray,
Standard block drilled for 4 bolt mains but has 2 bolt caps, I did not mic the crank but just looking at it the crank looks good will for sure need polishing. Fred |

Fred, I'd say the market is out there for $750 -$1000 on the block. Depends on who needs/wants one. Standard is a good thing
