Default 1963 Superior Pontiac Ambulance - 74662 miles

Selling my unrestored 1963 Pontiac Ambulance with only 74,661.8 original miles. It runs and drives with no issues. All original numbers matching drivetrain ... 389 - 4 barrel motor with automatic trans.

This low production Pontiac ambulance is very original and even has the original aluminum gurney with old goodyear tires. Also has its original loud siren! Also has the original spiral rear shocks.

The body as you see it now is in the factory original primer. When I bought it the original silver paint was flaking off ...so I removed most of the silver paint with several straight edge razor blades. The only sections of silver paint that did not come off is were there was body filler ...the rear quarters and a section on the back door.

No surprises! ... what you see is what you get. The body is very straight and does require some work. I have replacement quarter panels from a 63 Pontiac Catalina that are included.

The interior is very nice with the exception of the lower section of the front bench seat. The dash pad is perfect, The dash chrome is extremely nice. The headliner and visor are perfect ...and all the door panels are very nice and intact. It has a single rear passenger fold-down jumpseat which looks like it was never used. This Pontiac came from the factory with no radio or antenna ...and has the original radio delete plate installed. The heater, lights, speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, lighter, wipers, turnsignals all work ...but the horn and clock do not.

The motor is untouched ...I only replaced the fuel filter with a NOS fuel filter and replace a section of the fuel line. The master cylinder was replaced also with a NOS unit and the brakes work very good.

The heavy-duty Harrison radiator is original and has the 56 stamping still clearly visible and was equipped with a factory steel fan shroud.

The floors pans looks good and the frame is good with some surface rust showing (SEE PICTURES)

All the glass is perfect ...no stone chips or deep scratches. All windows roll own easily.

NOTE: THE AFTER-MARKET MAG WHEELS AND WHITEWALL TIRES SHOWN ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. IT WILL BE SOLD WITH BLACK FACTORY STEEL WHEELS OFF A 1963 CATALINA WITH VERY GOOD FIRESTONE TIRES. (SEE LAST PICTURE)

Overall its a good running and driving 1963 Pontiac ambulance in very original condition. Yes it need some body work ....but items like the dash pad, door panels, and headliner, which are very expensive to restore are in excellent condition.

Comes with factory brochures, 1 set of keys, CLEAR TITLE, a extra set of quarter panels, and a roll of silver/gray vinyl material for the front seat.

Please view all the pictures and email me or call me with any questions.

I am asking $4500.00 (AGAIN ...without the mag wheels and whitewall tires)

Please call John at 267-455-1963. Thank You.

What's crazy is that it was offered to ME for that price and I had just bought my Grand Prix so I had to pass on it. It would have cost me $750 to have it brought to me here in CHarlotte so I could have had it for $2100... Well, maybe the next guy will sell it in 6 months...

There's a guy on the HAMB that has one he's trying to sell. I think it's in Texas so it's out of range for me.

Google it.
It's quicker than me explaining it to you.
