I'm hoping to make it. Was planning to go. But it's not looking good. I'd drive my 71 down there, but it's still at the body shop and I don't have the engine back yet either. I don't trust my 68 to drive that far, so I'd have to trailer it. And I don't want to buy a trailer until my 71 is done because, I don't want to be short on $$$. I supposed I could just drive my Grand Prix GTP down there.

We've just finished updating the map for this year's event.
Click here to see the full-size image

If you are visiting us on Friday, you can use the main Clemens Road entrance and park anywhere at the front of the building (marked Car Show Area A & B on the map). On Saturday, Clemens Road will be closed for the day so you will need to use Elroy Road (the next light NE of Clemens Road) and make a left onto Fairgounds Road to access the event (follow the green line).

This year there are some changes to the event's layout. Chief among these changes is closing Clemens Road and allowing the car show to spill out onto the road. This should make crossing the street and moving between locations more convenient. We have also moved the hospitality suite and indoor featured parking to a more central location. Plus, we added additional bathrooms to various locations around the grounds.

Anyone who is bringing a trailer, there is plenty of parking behind our building. This area should provide plenty of space for trailer unloading and parking. RV parking will be available in the grass field near the Pontiac registration tent. Electric hookup is available from the building you will be parking next to (not pictured on map). That puts the RVs so close to the action, you might land on a Pontiac if you roll out of bed!!

There are plenty of both grassy and paved areas around the event grounds. Bring your blankets, chairs or even popup tents.

Anyone interested in hanging out here on Friday afternoon??

We recently discovered that Hatfield, PA now has an auto museum. It's a quick 5 minute drive from our offices and features vintage decorations and a varied collection of Antique, Classic and Special-Interest cars.

We're hoping to get them to stay open on Friday afternoon so anyone at the cruise-in can swing by, have a look around, hang out and have a beer (or 2).

Here's their website with a partial list of cars they have on display: http://hatfieldautomuseum.com/

Is anyone interested in having a Pypes exhaust installed on their car (Pontiac or other) by the Pypes installation techs, during the Openhouse? It looks like there are a few slots still left open on Saturday. I know MaryAnn's Challenger R/T is on the schedule already.

If you are interested, please contact brandont@pypesexhaust.com with your car's details and what you'd like to have installed.

They do have a stocked bar but they do not have a liquor license so they won't be selling it. I've been talking to the guy who will be hosting on Friday and he said he'll be happy to offer a beer to anyone who wants to hangout.

We just got confirmation that PUI is sending a representative to the Open House on Saturday to answer any and all interior / upholstery questions.

Last year there were 238 Pontiacs registered (but Pontiacs continued to roll in after registration closed so the final total is unknown). I'll have to get out last year's registration sheets and tally all of the GTO class totals to give you the number of GTOs, but I doubt you'll be disappointed. I'll get you the total tomorrow.

There were also 127 non-Pontiac muscle cars & trucks registered for the other 2 shows last year.

Have you seen the pictures from last year's show?

Have you seen the cover of our current FB catalog?
I cropped it so the guy in front of your car wasn't on the cover. That isn't you, is it?
