Default Clutch Springs

I am trying to figure out where the clutch return spring mounts to. I know one end goes on the Z bar. And the other end on to a equalizer shaft mounting bracket. What is that? Where abouts is the location of it. And is it a bolt on bracket.. Thanks again. Tom

Vehicle specifics would help greatly, Tom.

ie: Year, Model, Engine, Trans ???

No worries . . .

This illustration from the Pontiac MPC should be helpful.

Found this in a 69 factory manual.Looks like its going to the bracket for the backdrive linkage ? Let me know if it will work because I have the same question.

It bolts to the frame, almost across from the from of the trans. The backdrive linkage goes into the big hole on the left of the bracket. The next small hole to the right is where the spring would go.

No problem, I wasn't 100% on it myself. Pretty sure 69 and 70 is the same. Happy parts hunting !

Bolts to the frame right by the brake distribution block:
