Default WTB 400 block/engine

Getting ready to pull and rebuild the original engine in my 68 FB. I'd like to find another 400 block or complete engine that has not been built to use as a donor unit so I can save the original one. Close to a 68 is preferred but not necessary. I'd prefer to do local pick-up within 5hrs of Philly. So who has one sitting around collecting dust and wants some extra Christmas money. Thanks

I think I'm within 5 hours of you. Would you be interested in a 401 c.i. long block? It's stock bore/stroke except I had it honed from 4.121" to 4.125" (because I had a good set of JE 4 1/8" 10:1 blower pistons). I think the block is '67 or '68. Rods are old M/T 2014 alloy. Heads are non-ported -16's. It was first a blown/alky engine for mini-rod pulling (reliable to 8,300 RPM with a forged crank). I later swapped in a stock crank and ran it N/A (Hilborn 4-port on a tunnel-ram). I believe the only thing it needs is one new head gasket.

If first response doesn’t work out I have a standard bore ‘73 400 (988 engine) that is disassembled as I had block magged and hot tanked. Since found a 455 for my project. No heads as I traded originals for a set of 6x-4’s. I travel to Doylestown area often so might deliver.

If your building a street car I would just use the original block. Drag car is a a different story.

If any responses thus far don't work out, I'm roughly 2 hours south of Philly near BWI airport. I've got two 400's to choose from, one's gnarly and all original (and if memory serves came out of a '75 T/A) and the other was rebuilt and I believe ran at some point but I don't know if it's on the original bore.
