73 LeMans... now... what is wrong with it ? Looks like it has good wheel opening mouldings too !

A signature goes here, but I can't find one to steal that I like...

Auction is only for the lug nuts?

It's not a Sport Coupe as the emblems would like you to believe. It's a base LeMans that someone has added (and poorly I might add) a vinyl top to (notice the lines under the vinyl where the factory window moulding would be).

I would also doubt it is a 400/th400, given that there are no options on it to speak of (save for the bumper guards, buckets and console). It's probably a 350 2-brl/th350.

I asked a friend about that and he said it _was_ a Sport Coupe, but they, as you said Brian, had added the quarter windows and vinyl top... Did the '73 Sport Coupe come standard with buckets and a console ?

And i just noticed, if you blow up the front end shot.. you can see "350"...

Good parts car though...

I'm not sure about the buckets/console being standard ot not on the Sport Coupes, but that is most definately not a Sport Coupe.

All Sport Coupes had the 1/4 window louvers, and NO Pontiac A-bodies in '73 had little dinky 1/4 windows like this one appears to have. This one has the full length windows that were on standard and Luxury models (somebody just covered the rear of them, which is evident in the pics).

Judging by the attitude of the car, it also looks like there's no engine in it.

He just emailed me and said the WOMs were gone...

That's what caught my eye was the quarter windows, I thought it was a '75-77 at first but then I saw it was a '73... It could still have been a Sport Coupe, but the windows were replaced... It's not far, being in Dallas, I might drive up and see what it looks like and pick up a few things for a future project...

Not a Sport Coupe. Look closer at the moulding line that is showing under the vinyl top. You can see that the window is a triangle shape. The Sport Coupe's louvered 1/4 windows didn't come to a point where the sail panel meets the deck/quarter area, they were "abreviated".

I blew the pic up last night and you are correct... Now I wonder if the Sport Coupe emblem on the trunk lid is the original, or if someone added it... he "LeMans" emblems that are supposed to be on the front fenders don't appear to be there... Factory flaw?
