Can someone out there send me a pic of the hood seal for a 74-75 Formula 400. I'm restoring a 74 and I bought a aftermarket seal and there is no diagram on how it goes on. I have to glue it in some places and I can't remember how it looked before I took the old one off. Thanks!!

Are you referring to the seal that mounts on the cowl and seals the hood and cowl together?

Why do you have to glue it? There should be a bunch of clips in the bottom of the seal, and they go into holes on the cowl. I will try and find the instructions that came with mine. It sounds like you need to order the fisher body manual for 1975. That will help a lot.

Does it look like the one in this add. If not you might of gotten the wrong one. I bought one that had 70-81 on it at a swap meet, went out and looked at my car and went back in and returned it.

Thanks for the help I think I got it figured out now. Its held on with clips but I did use some glue to hold it in some spots.
