I have h.p.p mag. with 67 400 yt code. is there a 67 400 yt code?I HAVE A 1969 TY 400 330 H.P.?SO I WAS TOLD ,HOW WOLD I KNOW THE DIF.THE CYL. HAVE VALE CUT OUTS IN THEM ALL SO.

how to tell if i have a 1969 400. yt, code on block? 1967 or 1969 or 76? iam new here and i got a high performance pontiac june 2005 magazine and ther is a 1967 firebird with a 400 yt code. where do you find the codes on the front bye the head ?

yes, on the front of the block next to the water pump, passenger side. They are only about a quarter inch high letters and numbers so the motor has to be clean to read them.
