I sent a 67 AM radio to The Radio Man in Texas back in September. Didn't hear from him so I e-mailed (bad email) then I called(phone number was disconnected). Anybody have any info on how to get in touch? He did a great job converting the last two AM radios I sent to him.

Chris- I used a guy out of Mass. Named Richard Foster about a year ago. He converted my radio and did a good job. I found him in Hemmings. E-mail me if you want his number.

Chris- here is his info-- Richard Foster Antique Radio Service 12 Shawmut Ave. Wayland, Massachusetts 01778 (508)-653-2418. He does the AM/FM conversions, repairs, and I also had him recone both of my speakers. Good to work with and i thought his prices were fair.

Ccas,
I don't know if this is your guy or not, but there was an article in the Feb 2001 issue of Custom Classical Trucks about converting old radios to a modern AM/FM/CD head unit. The address for the company is in Texas. I am not affiliated with these people in any way, just trying to help. Here's the address: Bob Burkes at Central Classics Connections Dept CCT02 1001 Red Oak Ln. Ft. Worth, Texas 776114 817/740-0850 Krosati

Chris,
Bad news. The Radio Man is no longer in business. I had a friend loose his radio from his TA along with the factory 8 track. He told me that they had the doors locked on them. I went by the Radio Man's shop and it was locked up. I have not seen them at any swap meets in the area either. If I hear any other information I will be sure to pass it along. Unchained
