When you guys do a complete front end rebuild do you change out the pitman arm or do you/ can you install a new ball joint in it, or do they rarely rear out? power steering thanks Ken

The joint is non-serviceable. The whole thing gets replaced (if needed).
If you replace it, remember that the Camaro arm is different than the FB arm. The Camaro arm is straight, the FB arm is curved to clear the headers. Ask me how that dent got in my driver's side header tube... This should be the one you want (assuming you have PS), if it needs replacing: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/oer-9789157

Thanks Squidward, my car is a 67 manual steering, I have a 68 donor car using the power steering unit, will that work ok for the change, headers etc.? I have the 68 ps steering unit off the 68, anyway to check if pitman joint is ok. Thanks

Make sure you measure your idler arm too. My ps setup used the 5.8 pitman to match my same sized idler arm, but my setup was original. I know things got a little weird between manual vs. ps, or 67 vs 68 vs 69.
I did a lot of reading on a site by pozzi racing for Camaro stuff.
