Default Pontiac V8 in Chebby S10

May have my hands on an 88 shortbed S10 someday...my dad will surely retire it...Anyone here run Poncho V8 in one of these? I am thinking a 400.
How hard is it gonna be to do it?

My friend Steve has a Super Solid Florida S10 Blazer for Sale for $600. That would be great to put a Pontiac in....
