My OEM modulator has what "appears" to be an adjustment that is sealed with a dab of white sealant of some kind. The TH400 used a different modulator than the TH350 correct?
Mine is shifting at such a low point that if you roll down to walking speed .. it still doesn't go into first .. you literally have to stop the car for it to shift to low.
The engine also has unnatural gobs of vacuum, like 23-24".
I'm going to have to consider bumping the timing up from 12 to 14 ... seems to run better and better every time I do this. Idles better, holds idle better in gear, and is less "cold blooded" on cold start up. No sign of pinging or hard starting yet.
