Default KK paint code interior match

66 Catalina wagon with the tag under the hood showing the paint code as KK. I found this picture online that shows some paint samples and grabbed a quart of the Reef Turquoise Iridescent from an auto body supply store to paint the interior metal trim pieces.

But my question is finding the color of the folding metal base plates and seat backing plates that are in the back cargo area of the wagon. They appear as a darker green. The plastic covers for the electric seat hardware underneath the front seat also are this dark green. Would it be the Marina Turquoise Iridescent from this sample page by chance? I’ve included a couple pictures. The windlace is a little faded but hopefully you get the idea of how it differs in color.

Thumbs up Great Colors

My '66 Lemans with Code K exterior paint came with a Dark Turquoise code 220 interior.
Back when I was researching this I found these charts which show a Dark Turquoise Poly was used by Pontiac and
if I had to guess I would say this is what yours is/was.

Oh nice, these charts are helpful. You might be right because that’s very similar to what it looks like. Any idea how you find the Ditzler number?

Thumbs up

I'm not sure if these will be of help but here are a few more chip charts as well as the old can of paint I used.

Thanks a lot. I noticed your interior is mostly that dark green turquoise color where my dash and seats are a light colored turquoise like the exterior "K" color. Trim code 512 to be exact. It's just interesting to see the different color combinations I guess that could have came out of the factory. My carpet is a dark green similar to yours. Always feels like I'm color matching wrong, but I guess I can always do whatever I want!
