Default Disappointed in GP Hood to Windshield Frame Pads

I ordered a set of hood to windshield frame pads (p/n PD295) for my 1969 Grand Prix.

Unfortunately, they lasted about one day. I opened to hood to find the pads cracked in pieces.

I previously had a set of NOS pads that lasted about 20 years.

The Ames pads seems to brittle. Gentle flexing with my fingertips will cause them to crack.

Edit: I have a photo but I don't know how to post it

mike202, that's' very unfortunate to hear of your experience with the PD295 frame pads. We decided to research the issue and test a handful of sets we have in stock. We were not able to replicate the degree of brittleness you've expressed. Each had some flex and was able to withstand some serious abuse bending back and forth without any breakage. If you'd like a no charge replacement, we'd be glad to get you taken care of. Please feel free to shoot me an email with your information.

Thank you!
