What 2 inch headers are people using o 69 firebird with d-ports. my hedmans the passenger side is real low about 3 inches lower than driver side. need better fit on that side enable to lower car in front.

With Dports? Let me know if you find any being produced, as I would also be interested! The only option I could find for a 1st gen header larger than 1.3/4 was to go custom $$$.

I had a set of Headmans too, I had to cut and shorten the tubes on the right side to gain additional ground clearance. Exactly like you describe, the right side is much lower than the left. Now I have a set of MadDogs the fit well.

As mentioned, choices are limited > 1.75"

My 1 7/8" d-ports were custom by Headers by Ed too many moons ago.

Mark is doing some work on a 2" round port header for me as we speak. I asked him if he still makes a 2" D port 1st gen header and he said yes.
He starts out with 1 3/4" right at the flange and then goes up to 2".
I bet they work real well.
They are 1000$ + shipping.
PM me if you want his contact number. I could just post it, maybe someone else has but I did not ask him if it was OK to post.
Mark is semi retired but still makes his fine Pontiac headers. If you call Mad Dog they will give you his number as they do not make any Pontiac headers. I asked why and was told they take too much time on the bench to build. We all know what a pain Pontiac headers are.
But at least he still makes them and anyone looking for a set might want to do it while you still can.
He personally designs all his headers so he knows what we all go through with them. Great guy to deal with.
