Question on 1971 GTO Decal Colors

I have a 1971 GTO Convertible painted in non original blue and want to add the period correct decals. I believe the original decal color for blue would have been white but since my blue is not original nor the drivetrain I was considering going with black. Would seem to be with the current trend in making the decal more subdued. Any thoughts on this?
Also is there someone who makes these to order in case I wanted them to be flat black?
