1966 GTO Survivor
Loaded one family owned ‘66 YR GTO (360HP / Automatic).
Some odd day 2 stuff added by the Original owner. Still retains all the factory Vacuum linkage. Plus Red Fender Liners, vacuum trunk release, etc. Auction is at Hemmings.

1) 65 GTO Survivor. 43,440 Original Miles. “Factory” Mayfair Maize Paint with Black Pinstripe, Black Cordova Top, Black Interior, OEM Numbers Matching Powertrain. Purchased from the Lady that bought it new. Baltimore Built (11A). 2) 66 GTO Survivor. “Factory” Cameo Ivory Paint with Red Pinstripe, Red Interior. OEM Numbers Matching Powertrain. Tri-Power (OEM Vacuum Linkage), Automatic "YR" code (1759 Produced). Fremont Built (01B), with the Rare 614 Option. |

What an amazing time capsule.
You can tell just by the photos it’s an original car I love seeing these cars in this state. Great photos as well for all you 66 guys to download for research when restoring your own car. |

Nice car! Most of that slap-on junk would be an easy fix, but those LeMANS louvers

I can’t imagine drilling 36 holes to mount those fender louvers.

My rust-free fenders came out of AZ off a 1966 GTO that was rear-ended. IIRC It was Candlelight Cream. Having the OE fenders of course made this an easy task.

I can´t imagine the end carbs will open at WOT since the check valve is mounted backwards.
Still, supernice GTO! |
