Yes, one piece floor from Ames.
I can't take credit for the work. As I said in post#2 I have been down this road before and if I were to take on the body work on this project it would never be completed! Nyle Wing and crew are doing all the paint and body work. You can call Nyle and ask him; www.wingsautoart.com

Nyle does nice work. He and Tieman are associates, have worked together for years at times, and he ras run his own place on and off over the years.

The car will turn out great.

Scott Tiemann and Nyle did the floor replacement on my 64 Convertible.

You might have read this article a few months back. The car might look familiar....

Work has kept me away from posting, but here are some more progress pictures. The welding is done, next is priming and blocking. Setting the body back on the chassis.

Truly a labor of love.

And who doesn't love the crisp lines and simple beauty of a '64.

These cars look great with the top down.

Keep it up.

I missed this step the first time. That is pretty cool having the front clip on like other mentioned. did you have any body mount bolt spinners that you had to cut into the floor boards?

Any issues with flex picking it up by the rockers? Like the doors hitting the body.

Was that roller dolly something you made or bought?

Thats an interesting take on the cowl bracing. At least you can hang doors doing it that way.

What did you end up doing with the motor?

I love seeing the progress on this great work.

No, but alot of the floorboards have been replaced (both front, L rear and trunk floor)

Did not open the doors until the body was properly supported

You'd have to ask Nyle Wing, it is his.

What did you end up doing with the motor?
Rebuilt it, new pistons, valves, cam, bearings. Kept stock block and head

Will you be reinstalling the Tempest aluminum side moldings or welding up the holes? You dont see many Tempests with nice trim...

The plan is to put all the trim back on. I found a nice rust-free door and fender from a Lemans and had to drill new holes!

Sure is Pretty.

Making me wish I had a place to work on my "other" 64.
The 64 hard top.
