Default Correct red oxide epoxy primer

Who Where would I get the correct red oxide epoxy primer for my 70 GTO that matches what the factory used? I was told PPG discontinued it. Thanks

Are you referring to DP74LF, which was a PPG product?

is this the dip tank red primer?

I think I found a dead ringer, but it's really hard to get;

It's manufactured in Ontario (Canada) but it seems like retailers that carry it outside of Ontario are few and far between.

No more DP primers used here. SPI epoxy is avail locally & what I've been buying.
For correct GM shade of red oxide primer, will take mixing SPI red oxide (which is too red) w some black SPI epoxy primer.

The DPLF74 is marketed as “obsolete” through PPG jobbers. However, some jobbers still have stock. Mine had a quart on the shelf that I bought today “just because”. Last year they located two gallons for me that I have set aside for the proper restoration candidate.
