Default 69 gto fan shroud

Can someone post a good picture of a 69 GTO fan shroud? Maybe with the measurement of the circle. I found a shroud that is Pontiac and fits the radiator as well as the radiator core support. But a fan wont fit no matter how small with out hitting the bottom of the shroud. Also discovered the hood makes contact with the top when closed. It fits but yet doesn't lol. It even has the coupler around both hoses. I was going to buy a repo shroud but want to make sure it would fit and I that I don't have some thing wrong with the radiator support. The after market bushings on the radiator support dont seem to fit as well as the originals.

Photos attached are for a 1969 Lemans core support and fan shroud. Note that the fan opening isn't truly round. The fan opening below the top of the core support is 21-1/2" in diameter. However, the opening above the core support is moved up a little and therefore measures 22-1/2" vertically. I purchased this shroud many years ago, I assume from Ames. Note that it is from the damaged mold and has the void at the upper left rubber isolator location.

Thank you for the information! I think the one I have is definitely wrong. The bottom of the opening is much flatter and every fan I have tried would hit there. I have not had much luck with the after market parts. But might have to try one . Thanks again.

All late 1970 model as well as 71 & 72 model Pontiac A-body V8 shrouds have the 'void" at the drivers side upper cushion. So will original GrandPrix shrouds with the barrel type extension.

Original 1969 & most of 1970 usage shrouds will not have that small "void". Keep in mind, originally, there were 3 core shrouds & 4 core shrouds. One can very carefully trim the side of an original radiator shroud out of a 3core car which will allow a stock 4 core radiator to fit. Original '69 fanshrouds will have the "wing" on the side, easiest way to spot vs '70 shrouds.
