Default 65' GTO or Lemans Radio support brace

I need the support brace that goes between the radio and the bottom of the dash on a 65' GTO. Not sure if other years will work or not.

Gary,

Maybe you already know this but the length/height, plus the bends of this radio support bracket is different between 1965 and 66-67.
I’m not sure of the 64 style.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this information. No, I wasn't aware of the differences. Still looking for one!

Is the bracket the same for a '65 AM and a AM-FM radio?

I have the right bracket. PM with contact and ship to info. Also all the 66/67 brackets I've seen have a part number stamped in them, none of the 64/65 do. AM and AM FM brackets are the same.

No. The 65 AM/FM has a slightly longer chassis than the AM only and uses a different bracket.

1969 MPC 64-65 T/6, T/8 9773388 65 T/6,T/8 9781333 (AM-FM)

The 74 MPC no longer lists the 65 AM/FM bracket.

In fact I’m looking for a 65 AM/FM bracket but will most likely bend the AM bracket to fit or fab one up.

Stand corrected on 65 usage, 64 - 3 Deuces is correct.
