Default Driveshaft length ?

Is a 69-72 Grand Prix the same length as a 68-72 GTO ?
End to end of shaft

Nice chart! Have F bodies on it? My 78 TA is about 48.5" Just remember also the front yoke can change that dimension. A stock trans yoke and a TH 400 measured different than the MW yoke did.

Bottom out the yoke and pull it back by 1” then measure with the car’s full weight on the suspension.

Question Question about the chart........

John,

Is this chart straight out of the dealer's parts department book??
If so, do you know the year of the book?

It's out of the 1970 service manual.
The 1978 didn't have the lengths. It did have the pinion angles and stuff.
(also the 1972 didn't have it I think)
I haven't looked at the parts book, yet.
