74 T/A FB Alternator options and rear bracket?
Hi Fellas:
I'm looking to dump the chrome dome alternator that came with my newly acquired T/A however it only has a bracket on the front. Was there a rear bracket for the stock unit and if so what does it look like? Seems to me it will move under load without a rear bracket. I went to the parts store and they had a massive 80a alternator listed for my car however it doesn't fit the bracket I have. What options do I have other than the smaller stock 40a that they do stock and appears to fit the stock bracket? Thanks! |
