Default SD455 Auto Trans Carburetor #17054910 1973-74

Service replacement 800 cfm 1973-74 SD455 automatic transmission application carburetor #17054910 with date code of 1140 (114th day of 1980).

Near NOS quality condition and finish, in its original box.

Purchased from HO Specialties by the prior owner of my 73 SD455 twentyfive years ago and only used to verify the condition of original carb. (The original carb was fine, he had mistakenly reversed the hose routing on the vacuum advance lines and that was the actual problem!)

Carb ran great on the car. Accelerator pump was replaced with a modern fuel-friendly one from Cliff.

It is a real 800 cfm SD455 carb as noted by the "bulges" in the primary throttle bores. (see photos)

$1000 plus shipping and insurance. In-person pickup is appreciated, as well.

Thanks, Steve at nk15268@hotmail.com

Thanks. It was a great carb and ran very well (no bogs or burps) for the very few miles it was on my old 73 SD455 Formula. I would have used it on my Gramma's 1975 Firebird with the 455HO but I didnt want to remove/modify/butcher the thermostatic choke setup on a perfect original carb when someone could use it for its intended purpose on an actual SD455.

If anyone is interested in the carb and going to Norwalk, I am right off exit 26 on I-78 for those driving through NJ on their way to Norwalk. :-)
