Hey Everyone,

The 2023 racing schedule for the Outlaw Pontiac Racers West includes California and Arizona this year AND we have a race in LAS VEGAS !!!

We will be at the strip in March 17-19 this year !!!

I'm hoping we can have more than 16 cars and we will have our OWN CLASS at the Muscle Cars at the Strip weekend !!!

the new schedule is also on FB Outlaw Pontiac Racers West

Mark your calendar for that weekend and come Join Us, we will have Pontiac powered dragsters, 12 second 301s, Firebirds, GTOs, Grandvilles and everything in between

Rick, is this the event you messaged me about a week or two ago?

A Muscle Car event is right up my alley. Nice to see a track doing this. Not sure why the Arizona tracks never got on board with it.

Glad to see it happen, thanks for all the hard work

P.S. Any chance the new schedule will go up on the website? I don't do facebook

A short recap of the weekend

We had 22 different racers make passes down the Las Vegas dragstrip !!
From 4 different states, California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico
ET's ranged from mid 8's to 14s

We had some breakage on a couple of cars, and some additional (5) cars weren't able to make it, due to issues beyond their control.

Mother nature came in on Sunday and cut the racing short with just 6 racers left, the pot was split evenly among the racers.

Looking forward to next year and doing it all over again, with even more cars !!
