Oil Dip stick with 7 Q Milodon pan
Just curious total oil you guys add to this pan when replacing oil and filter. The dipstick that was in stock pan has a different level.
Is there a better dipstick available?

A different level than what?
You should be using the stock dipstick. The full level on a stock dipstick is still "full." The pan is bigger so it can hold more oil, though I suppose you could run it a quart low to improve windage. IIRC, I add 7 qts to my Milodon Roadrace pan when changing oil to get to the "full" mark on the stock dipstick.

Yeah then this aftermarket dipstick is junk. Any outlet for a decent replacement?

I think this site's sponsor offers stock replacement dipsticks and tubes...? Been awhile since I looked through their catalog.

I have run that bigger pan for years, and the "full" mark on the old dipstick is still where it is full at. The top level doesn't change, just the amount of oil I add to get it there. The extra capacity is, of coarse, in the bottom and on the "kickout" in the Milodon pan.
