69 GTO Judge dealer car in (Beverly Hills car club?) at $80K BIN. Reading through the ad it sounds like a tribute car, but is a 242 GTO. The copy of the window sticker lists the options, but this isn't PHS docs and I don't know how easily the window sticker can be altered? The color looks odd, not like Carousel red. It was, if you believe the window sticker, originally antique gold, which would have been really cool. My Spidey senses are tingling and I'd need more info if I was in the market for this, but it does seem on the cheap side.

1954 Pontiac Chieftain at $23K BIN in Ohio. Looks like an original CA blk/yel plate car, which is a big plus. IMO, if you started with a very sound example, you'd have more than $20K in the chrome and paint job on this car. It's very nicely restored IMO. Not my cup O' tea and I don't know the market for a car like this, though I would suspect it's not very high as the target buyer would probably be in his/her 80's.

might want to take a better look at the frame before you say that

Oh, I recognize that the frame would be the deciding factor if I were a player. At the very least it would have to be straightened... possibly replaced.

Oddly factoid - this 69 car wasn't sold until August 1970 . (according to ProtectOplate)
The 1971 models were almost due out by then.

And it was sold via the Pontiac Retail Store @ PMD (according to repro Window Sticker)

They would had to have the PHS Invoice to know it sold via the Retail Store --- to make the repro Window Sticker reflect that. Retail Store is nothing special really , but it is seldom seen.

Wallace doesn't have dealer code 07-673 captured yet in his records .
He does have more than one alternate for Retail Store , so maybe this is also another alternate.

Thews might be on the right track about it being a tribute.
The actual invoice is probably interesting.
Its a high VIN and probably a real late build..

They show a rusted out section behind passenger front tire.
Easy to miss at a casual glance .

Sounds like a Penguin if it was Black with White top and interior .
I hope it had white line tires too

That 66 was a 2-Tone car with a White painted Roof , not a white top.
Paint is a letter , tops are a number - on 66 trim tags.
Maybe it was a police chiefs car when ordered new.

I recognized that it was painted ..just said top. Painted white top and parchment interior. I'd like to see that. Cop car was my first thought also.
I still don't see the rust out but I'm viewing this on my cell phone maybe that's why?
If it's rusty AND bent, I say drop it on a new chassis. I don't know, maybe it's just me but the car looks like it's got good bones...and of course, looking in person could tell a whole different story.

RE: Black 66
Down below the description are more pictures of car and parts.
Rust in frame behind both front tires.

Looks like an honest well kept car that just lived too far north.
60 sum thousand original miles.

As for the 69, Convient that the covered area of the protectoplate photo includes the area with the engine and transmission codes. It wouldn’t confirm it’s a Judge but if legit, it would at least confirm that it is Ram air three car.

A repro window sticker is obviously worthless from a documentation point of view as you can put whatever you want there.

Ah, now I see it BVZ. Ok, so I need to focus on my own '66 project. Possibly in better condition than that one rust wise.... although I would love to have a lot of the parts, the interior and all of the trim from the black one for my Barrier Blue.

71 Firebird with a 455 at $15.5K in Texas and NR. Nice looking car... not a single engine pic.

Great Find on that ,WQ59B ! Thanks

So maybe they never had a PHS Invoice , or the Invoice they got was an early invoice and had it billed to PMD .
And they used the Retail Store as their best guess .
The mud just gets deeper as it goes .

Whatever kind of GTO it was - it was a hard sale going all the way to Aug 1970.
The PoP usually has the mileage listed on it too.

The spare tire is Wild

If this is a real Antique gold 1969 Judge, do you think it's a good deal at $80K as is? Had to be a rare color. Wonder how many in the registry?

For reference:

Speaking of the 69 Registry, they have a P3394 VIN that is Antique Gold and sold at the Retail store. Also shows it as 6-13-1969 shipped date.

Not sure if this is the same one or ?

6-13-69 would be right in line for its first billing/invoice.
So maybe it was ordered for inventory or display or as a demonstrator at the Retail Store .

It was used for something and must have racked up some considerable wear and tear to be such a hard sale , and had 12 months / 12,000 miles deducted from its warranty .

Sure would be nice to see the Invoice(s) and the full view of the PoP .

I can't find anything on 07-673 at the 69Registry site ?
But Rosso sounds familiar .

87 T/A in Pennsylvania with 47K miles at $15K BIN. Interior is something I've not seen before.

If its still original drivetrain then its in the range of being a good deal.
AC and Pwr Windows together is a rare combination on a 69 Judge.
Most Antique Gold cars have been color changed in their lifetime.
