Default Correct Mounting Plate?

Can someone tell me the correct part# for the shifter mounting plate that bolts to the Muncie tail shaft housing for a 1970? The mounting plate that I have does not allow the Hurst shifter to tilt forward sufficiently to look correct in the console. The plate on my tranny does not have a # on it anywhere. I might need a #1957773 but I am uncertain. Thx.

Thanks much, will the 71 plate still work and place the shifter handle correctly in the console? Dave

Look at post #122 and 123 in this thread, it might help.
