OMG. How could anyone even think of restoring that???? It would actually be worth less money after spending $50K "restoring" it.

NO Honeycombs. Keep the sleeper look and put the SD-455 Decal's back on the Shaker.

In the add the guy stated the owner ordered the car with not many option's,But A/C is a killer for me. Still how many Formula's are there with an Auto and NO A/C ?

Come on Jim, it NEEDS honeycombs! There is nothing sleeper about a Firebird with a shaker hood!

I'm having fun with the moon caps. It's certainly a conversation piece.

Leave the originals on it!

Fix any nick-nacky items needing, detail, and leave alone, as said. They seller is almost like threatening like "If a ya don't a buy it, I'm a gonna restore it! I can not see profit math on resto investment and higher sale price (maybe) vs just sell it now in pretty awesome shape. Missing something on that math.

Any ideas where the seller got the production figures from? Any thoughts on value?

They made 43 Formula SD455s in 1973. All the colors are known.

Go halfway down the page and you can see the chart.
