Jeff, is that the Pontiac version of the intake with divided intake runners (6 separate runners), or the Chevy version with undivided runners? Jack Clifford lost or broke the molds for the Pontiac version in the 1970's. He started selling the Chevy version for both applications after that.

Just curious, also those look to be the 2nd series long tube headers, I ran a set of those on my Tempest for years, those are good headers for an A-Body, they need a small amount of clearanceing done on the #4 tube to work on a F-Body.

They are both nice pieces and the headers are a great find. Good luck with the slae!

Thumbs up

Jeff,
I know very little about the Clifford OHC Parts.
This is only the 2nd Intake I've had in my hands in 25+ years.

It is the P-4500 and has divided runners.

The headers appear to have never been run/used.

JeffR
On the other Chevy based intake, do you know how they accounted for the different bolt pattern?

Exclamation CORRECTION;

I looked closer at the headers to see if there were any numbers and did notice some tube clearancing
(Minor Hammering spot) so these may have been used, but couldn't have been a very long time.

...Did the Clifford Headers eventually collected into the single exhaust Headpipe. That means a 2:1 pipe would be part of the kit.

I had the Clifford Headers (used, from the car)and a single headpipe SPRINT car. I forget if I ran the Headers, or always the Cast iron with y-Pipe. Only had the Factory Iron intake, and never beheld the aluminum intake.

I have never seen a Y pipe to connect any OHC-6 Two piece headers, Always ran duel exhaust on mine. Sometimes with an X pipe mounted between them before the aft pipe went over to the passenger side.

I have seen a couple of custom made 6 into 1 headers with a single pipe.
