Rear disks from a 88-98 f body

I read an article from Car Craft, 2012, that showed using the rear disk brakes from a 1988-1998 f body on a 2nd gen. Has anyone done this, and if so how did you hook up the emergency brake? I would only need the mounts, calipers, pads, and rotors would be bought new.
