My mother bought a new 1965 Tempest at Tom Connolly Pontiac in Norwood ma.

When we picked up the car, it had thoce exact hubcaps on it.

Great old photos! The best proof of how these cars came from the factory are photos like these.
Note - Some members aren't aware that the factory pinstripe continues all the way down to the taillight bezel.

I think there needs to be a sticky for original photos. Everyone could consolidate them in one place. They are priceless and need to be preserved

It takes you back in time when these cars were New along with the buildings, signs, clothes, and hair styles, just as I remember.
PS - Wonder if that LF fender on the 65 Tri-Power car was pulled out.

If i did this right, this is me back in june 1965. This is the first new car my parents bought. 326,3 on the tree.
