Thanks Bill, I kinda burnt out on shows years ago. I will hit cruise nights and mainly just drive the crap out of it. It will only see a trailer if its broke or stolen.

Curious about the wheels Bert, I realize they are stock LM GTO's. Are you going to paint the insides like a rally wheel?

I would bet a set of those 17/18 Hurst repops would look killer on that car. Nice job!

Really not sure what I am going to do on the wheels yet. Hadn't thought of painting the 2004 wheels like rallys...interesting idea though

There was an earlier picture during mockup with a large section cut out of the hood. Why was that hood cut out like that? It looked like it was cut out much more than would be needed to convert the Tempest hood to a GTO look-a-like.

that was a tempest hood that I was using for test fitting and I was cutting pieces out of it to make panels for wherever I needed to fab stuff up..like the trunk for instance. A bunch of that hood was used to make some panels in the trunk.

Very cool build - West Coast Customs would charge 6 figures for that one!

One question Bert... How did you title it..... 65 or 04?

And it's one awsome car.

Chales, if you leave it here you know the rule.."Finders Keepers" I like 67's especially if its a ragtop..Heres a couple pics of my very first frame off when I was 18..still remember my dad just shaking his head when he came home the day I tore it down... 67 400 4-speed, Pwr Top, I added tilt and A\C from a junk yard 67 and front disc. Later this also became by first 4 wheel disc car and my first nitrous car too..tons of good times in this one.
